Heading to the Tropics?

Packing for the tropics is easy, do you have enough bathing suits? When you travel in warm climates less is more. Here is a list of things to bring when you will find yourself more on the beach.

Must haves for the beach

  • Reef Safe Sunscreen– Using a reef safe sunscreen is not only safe for you and kids it also is safe for the reefs. Raw Elements is proven to be a great way to protect your skin and ocean life.
  • Sun Hat– Protect your face. I cannot express enough about sun protection. 
  • Quick Dry Towel – Turkish towels are the go to beach towel. They are quick dry and and soft.
  • UV Sunglasses – Before you click to see which ones I suggest, let me tell you why. The reason I picked these is because I am clumsy, if you following my story you know. If you damage them they will fix or replace with little question. Which means you will have them a long time.
  • Bathing Suit Cover – You can’t always walk around in a bathing suit. So get a coverup that is stunning and comes in so many colors. 

Taking a Hiking Adventure

Must haves for your hiking adventure

  • Hiking boots– Don’t just buy your boots and go. You need to work them in. Walking around your house, up and down stairs and local hikes to get your feet use to them. I have always loved Columbia brand. I am no pro hiker but these are comfortable and easy to work in. Men’s hiking boots.
  • Underlayers – Layering is a must when you travel in the mountains. Having proper wool or polyester is a must. You need to get the sweat off your body and fast drying clothing. Men’s underlayer

  • Jacket – Keeping warm, dry and being able to freely move around is a must. This jacket is a great addition to your hiking needs.

Venturing to Colder Climates?

Venturing to colder climates is no joke. I live in Canada so dressing warm is a must in the winter months. Here is a list of things to bring with you.

  • Winter Coat – Having a proper winter coat is a must in colder temps. Make sure you have a hood and that it reaches below the belt line.
  • Hat – or like what we call a toque. Keep you head warm and your body will feel the same.
  • Gloves – Your hands are always going to be in the elements. Not only are you protecting your hands from the wind you are protecting them from the sun. Having a good grip is a must.
  • Boots – Protect your feet. Having a warm, waterproof pair of boots is a must in the snow.
