A Quick overnight stay
Storms River is located between Cape Town and Jeffreys Bay. I loved this place, rustic, inviting and filled with love. I stayed at the DIJEMBE B/P. This is a backpackers paradise and its on the Baz Bus accommodations. They had the cutest dogs here and they welcomed you with wagging tails. Dijembe is located in the heart of the Tsitsikamma Forest. Relax by the fire in a hammock with a great book or help out in their veggie garden meals
. Have the need to get your adrenalin pumping . There is ziplining, hiking at the park. Or if you really need to get the ticker going bungy jumping from the Bloukrans Bridge at 709 feet. We arrived in Storms River in the evening with the smell and crackle of a bonfire. I only had one night here I wanted to make the most of it. Which meant I had only the next day to get as much done as I could.
It was a cloudy misty day for ziplining and hiking
I got up the next morning, had a coffee and some breakfast and set out for some ziplining and a big hike. I have no idea where the pictures of my Ziplining fun went. Maybe one day I will find them for now you get to see the hike. This hike was fascinating at Tsitsikamma park. This a great place to get in a great hike. The multiple suspension bridges including on big one. If I hadn’t done the ziplining that morning the bridge may have caused for some leg shacking. None the less I made my way across and even stopped for a photo op. After making my way up around the path I noticed I was running out of time. So I made my way back to Dijembe to catch the bus to Jeffreys Bay.
