Cancun is the spot for beaches, march break madness and great concerts.
We spent a day here at Playa Gaviota Azul Beach. We rented a cabana and some chairs and just relaxed. Now we were here in February so it wasn’t the crazy time in March. But still the beaches had a good amount of people.
Music was still playing loud from the hotels and even had a DJ on the beach.
I could imagine the insane time it would be here during March Break. You look at pictures on Pinterest or any social media and the club lights and large crowds looks to be a great time.
This area is great for photos. Waves crashing up on the rocks and not to mention the never ending powder sand beaches. The water was a little rough that day which just made for great pictures.
Great Food
Yes this area has a lot of chain restaurants like Hard Rock, Fat Tuesday and of course Hooters.
But you should try out Caminero Tacos. It is close to the others and the food is amazing.
I am not sure I would spend a week here, maybe in my younger years this would have been a blast. But who knows maybe our girls weekend will have me back here.
