I love travel quotes as much as i love traveling. It could be about a life’s journey, a story of a wanderer, or just have those few words that mean something to you at that moment. 

Each time I find something or hear something that makes me smile, or makes my heart melt I will share it with you. And hopefully you can share it with someone to make their day a little brighter.

Probably my favorite quote and the reason I went with the wandering traveler for the name. I found, throughout my travels, I was always getting lost but found the most interesting things and stories from those times.

My fear of heights is a true struggle for me. On one of my adventures my friends and I hiked Big Beehive Trail. Truly stunning and just as scary for me. Yes that is fear in my eyes, yet it didn’t stop me, and was worth every step.

Now I love this quote but please don’t worry about the age. The great thing about travel is it is the one amazing thing for all ages. Anthony Bourdain was a man of wisdom and great words. He was someone I looked up to and followed. I took his words with pride and honor when it come to my adventures.

The one trip I was so disappointed in was my trip to Thailand. I got so sick the first night, that eating anything was hard. As a foodie this was difficult. I had so many things I wanted to try but my body was just saying no. This quote is so true. If you travel, and you’re a westerner, you need to branch out. Try the local cuisine, meet new friends, explore the lands and most of all, do this with an open mind.

I love to travel solo! Yes traveling with friends and family has it’s perks, but seeing a new place at your own pace, tops everything. Going at my own pace, fast or slow, without someone not happy is such a great experience. Travel buddies are amazing but you must try solo travel at least once.

Wanderlust is that one thing, once you have been bitten by the travel bug it’s an infection that never goes away. It’s the impulse to get up and go, the desire or need to see new things. That moment you have explored a new place in the world.
